We have villas in two parts of Bali. Villa Rosita is right on the ocean on the East Coast, near Klungkung, away from the busier areas. The Urban Retreat villas (Satu, Dua, and Tiga) are in Seminyak, a short walk from the bars, restaurants, and shops.
How many guests can the villas accommodate?+
Villa Rosita has seven bedrooms and sleeps up to 21. The Seminyak villas have three to five bedrooms and sleep up to 12 each. If you book all three Urban Retreat villas together (12 bedrooms in total), you can have up to 30 people, which works well for big families and reunions.
Is a private chef available at the villas?+
Yes, every villa has a private chef. At Villa Rosita, Chef Wayan cooks Indonesian, Indian, and Western dishes, and you can choose your meals for the week ahead of time. He can work around allergies and last-minute changes. Meals are charged separately, and guests tell us the food is fresh, the portions are big, and the prices are fair.
Do the villas have private pools?+
Yes. Villa Rosita has an 18-metre infinity pool looking out over the ocean, plus an outdoor jacuzzi. Each Seminyak villa has its own pool, and booking all three Urban Retreat villas gives you access to several. The pools are private, so you are never sharing with other guests.
Can we book the entire Urban Retreat complex?+
Yes. The Urban Retreat is three villas (Satu, Dua, and Tiga) with 12 bedrooms between them. You can book all three for a wedding, a retreat, or a big reunion and have the whole place to yourselves, with a team looking after you. Booking all 12 bedrooms currently gets you 10% off (terms and conditions apply).
Is butler and concierge service included?+
Yes. Every stay comes with a butler and concierge who handle bookings, transport, and any requests you have. At Villa Rosita, house managers like Kadek and Made can arrange drivers, island tours, massages at the villa, yoga sessions, and help with any celebrations you are planning.
Are the villas suitable for families with children?+
Yes, they work well for families. The villas have plenty of bedrooms and room to spread out. Villa Rosita is set up for children and can provide a baby high chair, a cot with a soft mattress, toys, and a kids menu. The Seminyak team is good with young children too, and they are happy to sort out early check-ins where they can.

Villa Rosita has seven ensuite bedrooms, an 18-metre infinity pool, an outdoor jacuzzi, a private gym, a games room with a pool table, tropical gardens, and a big patio looking out over the ocean. Inside there is air conditioning, smart TVs, fast Wi-Fi (250+ Mbps), and a full kitchen. The whole property sits on about 1,800 square metres right by the sea.
Is Wi-Fi available at the villas?+
Yes, all the villas have free Wi-Fi. Villa Rosita runs at 250+ Mbps, which is fine for streaming, video calls, and getting some work done. The Seminyak villas also have Bluetooth speakers and USB-A and USB-C charging points in the rooms.
Are the villas eco-friendly?+
Yes. Every villa is Sustonica eco-certified. We use water-saving fittings and collect rainwater, run energy-efficient systems and LED lighting, and use local decor and produce where we can. Part of what you pay also goes towards coastal protection and local education, so the stay does some good beyond your holiday.
What savings do I get by booking direct?+
Booking with us directly means no OTA fees and better rates. At the moment we have early-booking savings for 2026 (up to 20% off if you book 60 or more days ahead), last-minute deals of up to 35%, 10% off if you take all 12 Urban Retreat bedrooms, and an extra 5% off with a promo code on non-refundable rates.
Is breakfast included in the stay?+
Breakfast is included and the villa team makes it fresh each morning. For lunches, dinners, and anything special, you can arrange those with your chef for an extra charge, and they will cook around what you like and any dietary needs.
Is transport or a driver available?+
Yes. The concierge team can arrange a driver and transport for airport pickups, day trips, dinners, and shopping. It is especially handy at Villa Rosita given its quieter spot on the East Coast, though taxis are cheap and easy to get as well.
Is there a gym at the villas?+
Yes. Villa Rosita has its own gym with cardio machines, adjustable dumbbells, and a TRX, and the 18-metre pool is long enough for laps. The Urban Retreat in Seminyak has a gym on site too, which guests staying longer tend to appreciate.
Can you arrange spa, massage, and wellness experiences?+
Yes. The team can set up massages at the villa, yoga with an instructor, and other wellness bits during your stay. At Villa Rosita people love a massage by the pool looking out at the sea, and at The Urban Retreat there is yoga up on the rooftop. Just ask the villa staff and they will book it for you.

Amazing stay at Villa Rosita with 14 adults and 4 children. The booking team was always reachable and settled all our questions quickly. Before arriving, we were in contact with the villa manager, Mr. Made, very friendly and always helpful throughout our stay! The whole team was super friendly, from the driver to Chef Wayan to the housekeeping and security teams. Big shoutout to Chef Wayan for the crazy amazing dishes, order the babi guling and the duck! Truly an amazing stay.
We stayed in Villa Satu for 5 days in January and the staff went over and above to accommodate us. We booked at very short notice, and despite booking at midnight, everyone at Urban Retreat ensured the villa was ready for us to check in with our two young children early the next day. The villa was cleaned perfectly every day, the staff were responsive through WhatsApp, and lovely with our children too. It was reassuring having security outside at all times. We'd highly recommend Urban Retreat!
Absolutely loved our stay at Urban Villas. This is such a gorgeous spot, perfect for families or anyone wanting a private and relaxing escape. The private pool was spotless and the ideal place to cool off, and having a gym on site was such a bonus for longer stays. We also had an in-villa cook who made the most delicious meals. The space was modern, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were warm, helpful and always went above and beyond. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
This villa was exceptional in every category. Kadek and his staff were extraordinary, anything we asked for, they provided, from daily massages and yoga to excursions and shopping. The food was fine dining and Chef was the best; homemade pizza, spring rolls, apple streusel and chicken soup were some of our favorites. The views and property are second to none, but it is Kadek and his staff that make this place a must stay. Our group can't thank them enough for their outstanding hospitality and service.

Just spent an amazing weekend at the most beautiful villa! Everything was perfect, from the breathtaking views to the gorgeous interiors and the incredible service. It was the ideal mix of comfort and luxury, and the staff are very welcoming. Rooms are spacious and the beds divine. The food was amazing, we ate Indian, Indonesian and Western dishes, all beautiful. We even had in-villa massage services overlooking the ocean, booked through the villa staff. A must do in my book. Can't wait to come back again soon!
The Urban Retreat felt like a hotel that I had all to myself. Such a great villa for my Bali vacay, and it was near lots of nightlife, shops and restaurants! The four bedrooms ensured everyone had their own space, while the common areas brought us together around the pool and open living spaces. Be sure to experience yoga on the rooftop at least once. The aesthetics made it feel like a true luxury home away from home. Definitely recommend for friend or family groups!
We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Rosita for our intimate Bali wedding! Everyone was very helpful, and Wayan made vegan meals as requested which were extremely tasty. It was so handy having a driver, a chef, and the ability to have our clothing washed at any time. The pool was incredible with a beautiful view of the ocean, the villa is clean and tidy, and there was plenty of space for everyone. I'm so happy we chose Villa Rosita as the venue for our wedding, the staff made it very easy and it was simple to organise vendors to cater and decorate.
The Urban Retreat truly lives up to its name, it's an absolute treat. From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless, with excellent communication throughout. Lisa and her team were incredibly responsive and accommodating with every request. I booked the entire complex for my 40th birthday to celebrate with family and friends, and it's easily become my favourite place to stay. We just spent an amazing weekend at Villa Rosita and couldn't be happier! The villa is absolutely stunning, right on the beach with breathtaking ocean views, spacious rooms, and beautiful interiors that feel both luxurious and homely. The staff were incredible, friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond for our family, especially with the little ones, adding a soft mattress to the baby cot, a high chair, toys, and a kids-friendly menu. My family enjoyed themselves very much at Villa Rosita. The sea view with the sound of waves was excellent, and the cleanliness of the villa was very well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. I must give Chef Wayan Darma a kudos thumbs up for his cooking and his chilli recipe! The night security was very alert and responsive. Swimming in the pool with a sea view while playing music on their in-house sound system was an excellent staycation. We will definitely be back again!
The team at The Urban Retreat were amazing. We had our large family hire out the villas and the team went above and beyond. The villas are beautiful and made our stay so much more comfortable, and if we needed anything the team were so willing and ready to help. Close enough to everything we needed. Highly recommend!
I booked Villa Satu at the last minute, choosing it because it was so close to the main bars and restaurants in Seminyak and was a new villa. In the end, we spent most of our time chilling in the villa as it was so comfortable, with Gede making us a morning coffee each day. Great location and beautiful villa, we only wish we had booked for longer! Thank you Gede and staff, we will definitely be back.
